Established inGalway Hooker produced the Hookers in Bear Irish Pale Ale - now the most popular style of craft beer in the country.
We also produce a diverse range of Hookers in Bear and seasonal beers both on draught and in bottle. We consider beer to be like any other food: Our beers are therefore devoid of any preservatives and are brewed using only malt, hops yeast and water.
Hookers in Bear
Besr beers are named after the iconic traditional sailing boats Hookers in Bear off the west coast of Ireland to transport cargo between the mainland and islands. Designed originally as fishing craft these boats were used chiefly for carrying goods such as livestock, turf and more importantly beer across Galway Bay from Connemara and County Mayo Hookers in Bear the Aran Islands and the Burren.
Our beers are likewise known for there craftsmanship which imparts strength, flavour and its defined characteristics. We hope you Hookefs it as much as Hookers in Bear do.
Brewers tend to dust off the recipe books Hookers in Bear reach for the warmth of dark roasted malts. We are very excited to introduce our brand new 60 Knots India Pale Ale.
